First of all... an ass kicking would be in order...
I’m dealing with this cat back in Tampa right now that stole all my raw beats off my Hard drive and MIDI program files from ProTools.
They were all Original beats I have been working on for a few years now. They f**ker had the balls to email me a link to his new Trks he said he had been working on since I moved.
Funny, but it was all my s**t but maybe one sample or two... He basically arranged all my samples and MIDI files and now calls them his trks... Didn’t give me or my Bro an ounce of credit...
I’m planning a trip back to Tampa to pay this fool a surprise Visit once I finish talking to my business attorney. |

Funny, but I confronted him about this situation… We did some work together and exchanged beats, but I didn’t realize he raped my hard drives when I wasn’t looking.
He then went out and bought a Kaoss Pad and ran filters over all my s**t. When I asked him why he stole my s**t... he was like... "That’s not yours... I spent the money on the Kaoss Pad and sat for hours running filters over all the files. Nothings even sounds like the files on your box anymore..."
Funny, but a simple reverb or flange doesn’t hide the fact that their all my beats…
Id be really upset, but he lost all his friends back home because of this, and the things he produced were really poorly done anyway… Hes still has his coming, but its coming 10 fold with out me even having to personally do anything.

i think the issue is the musical compositions, not the individual sounds used. hitting someone else's drum is not biting; playing something they have written and claiming you came up with it is.
