TractorFS heads school me
so I'm haven a great time with FS here. I have some 60cyl humm in one of the decks so I get some unsuspected pitching in that deck some times...I know I need to fix that...I'm assuming thats a normal problem with FS... if the scratch amp ante getting clean code.. then your f**ked...
but my question is what settings do you use in the setup preferences
Pitching/Scratching Sound? do you use vinyl or digital?
I some times I like to hit stop on the out going deck when the bass drops on the incoming deck. In FS this is cool until the final drag at the end of the stop sounds like poo poo. Is that as good as it gets?
next question:
what do you set your Auto Gain Control at?

have you even played around with the input section of the setup menu?

honestly, I've messed w/ all the settings, and can't really tell a difference. I use the auto-gain control in perceived mode .. I think (I'll look later when I get to it)
and I use vinyl mode, but I can't tell a huge difference between the two either. |

yea any type of f**ked signal from the table is not good and meses with the code. I use the vinyl setting for scratching i ave noticed a small difference but thats only with doing really complex hand movements not a basic back and forth. the final drag always sound like s**t, but i like it its a cool effect when scratching with fs 
i dont use the auto gain as i always try to have my mp3s at the same level and loudness esp since im recording vinyl and adjusting the loudness from the get go in the first place. i am kinda pissed that the manual sucks donkey balls. like i was messing with my boys mac and i pressed something in which you can tap in the bpms, but i could not find it in the manual boooooooo

cool taping the BPM would be better...
I play alot of IDM stuff... to... so I have my owen sistum for #ing my wax and I need way to bring that in to the FS world now...
s**t I dont' think I'm ever going to buy another record agen...
In a way thats kida sad...
but for experamental s**t it's not commming out on wax fastenough for me |
