have you heard of a kid called Willow? he is one of our residents- and yes, i consider him pretty much experimental (emphasis on the mental!) hip hop.
also, Danger S is another resident and he's simply all over the place- d&b, hip hop, you name it.
that is what this night is all about- whatever is unique and diverse in broken beats. |

so there's no more silly name calling, i'll clarify:
first off, Subterrafusion will instead be called the Unseen. (mostly because of people's fear of large words....)
and yes it is downtown at the corner of 10th & E (Pokez, Roseary Room, whatever you wanna call it- and if ya ain't eaten at Pokez, you're missin' out)
the first one is Sept. 6th and our residents are:

Abby normL
don Ryan
Willow
these residents were selected for their diversity in music which is what Unseen will be all about....the road less traveled, hope to see you one night. |

the one and only....(vinly gobbler...that s**t's funny jerry!!!bwahhh)...he may be on tour at the time of the first event; but the October one will be a DRumz reunion and he will be playing that one.
jerry, i really am looking forward to you guys' show w/ ZEP; it's the only thing i have any interest in 'til then actually- now i just gotta arrange my work schedule. can't wait to hear summa yer new stuff too. |

jostile, you got a problem w/ mushrooms & tofu? perhaps you fear less a big hunka dead bloody meat? hee hee...
as far as Subterrafusion aka unSeen (too close to Underscene- dammit...) aka the newly re re named San Diego Sessions (#001)- here's what we got for the night: Arson (SF 510 junglist), Danger-S (SRM/45psi), don Ryan (jungle riddims) and some weird chick playing whoknowswhat. Jungle, hip-hop, breaks and downtempo.
Willow won't be playing this first show as he SHOULD be on a tourdate. He'll be doin' his thing at the October show when we'll be reuniting the Drumz crew for the night.
$3.00 beers, homemade sangria, sake, no mushrooms or tofu .....21+ limited capacity.

yo wendy we have planned the planet soul pre-party on the 6th.....im sorry this has happened. R&R came to an agreement that we would do it in aug. but after further meetings and calculating time and $ we had to move this show to the 6th of sept. Im personally sorry for not being able to forsee this. Hope you can understand

ps-jerry be careful re: all this....this many last minute changes in city, location, date, etc. is often a bad sign...i believe i just threw away the flyer from the last? party R&R threw that i was booked for too that either got broken up or from what i remember, never went off....correct me if i'm wrong; it was the flyer w/ the crazy dreadlocked creature on it; i just looked for it to verify and couldn't find it; i recollect that i threw it away cuz i don't keep flyers i'm booked on if they don't actually happen. if i'm totally wrong on this association please accept my apologies. not trying to dis just making you aware....check it out. |

Thanks for understanding Wendy, Im not sure about that last party your talking about to be honest with you.. and yes last minute changes do end up busted, your right! This last change was due to thae ASR trade show happening and some of the companies submitting clothes for our fashion show will be in town so they really want to see what will be going on in the future. The place is locked down and fully permited so thiers no worries for the party not happening. Thanks for looking out...Respect always. |
