Planet Soul sat. sept.27th

R&R industries is proud to present the second annual Planet Soul. This event and future R&R ventures will be held at a new vergin massive location in the epicenter of s.d. 18 and over & open till' 4a.m. This diverse club will integrate all genres of electronic music. Just when you thought S.D. couldnt get any better, its just gotten bigger, R- DUBS!

Starting in October R&R Industries will begin bookings for the Epicenter Soundstage. The nights will be....of course Saturday nights! Every saturday night we will be bringing you local & international talent. For any local S.D. & L.A. drum and bass dj's that want to funnel through San Diegos premire new club get a hold of R&R Industries...D&B bookings: amperes@netscape.net

im not sure what you mean? respect.....? is it cause search is on the 27th? do you feel that we shouldnt of planned on having our Grand opening on this night? Once again to clearify things...this show was planned in L.A. about 4 months ago. R&R Industries around that same time recieved a prop. To instead bring it home to s.d. and at the same time begin a regular saturday night thier after. We dont mean to step on anybodys shoes but as your club has to roll so does ours! and so does everyother club in s.d. The odds that our date landed on the same day is just a fact that s.d. is thriving.....and so you know matty its not a matter of respect, i did think about search and voiced my opinion that you guys are having your 1 year that same night, but R&R is divided into all different sectors and all must come to the best conclusion. We decided on this night on in overall agreement that we arent just D&B but all other styles of electronic music. I will try my best to shift the date to the first sat. of oct. but then ill be dealing with dragon lounge. And that will always be the case, thier will always be something going on, its impossible to try to dodge everything when your opening up a weekly. so do i understand right...the actual Planet soul event that was set to be in LA is now in s.d. on Sat. 27th (the night of Search's Anniv.)...AND the pre-party for Planet Soul has just been switched to Sept. 6th (the night of San Diego Sessions #001)?

oh yeah, and Dragon lounge is on Fridays....has been for oh about 4-5 years now i think.

yes...I know S.D. Is finally thriving with shows. I remember when i would have to wait once a month for Dragon Lounge to bring a good show home! Now its totally different. And for R&R it will be a bit difficult dodging shows concidering we are starting a weekly Saturday night at the new spot. But we are booking and we will filter all our s.d. heads through if possible. S.D. coming up!

you guys should be aware that delete is every saturday night, except for search nights as they were so cool to work out with us. saturdays are pretty filled up here in sd...you might want to consider another night of the week?

heard leah; that's what the event developers forum is for huh. i researched, noted and did everything possible not to clash w/ anyone; we're just a monthly also. Delete switched to every Sat. AFTER we'd initiated our thang. nothing i can do about that. trying to be understanding and it is a good sign when there's so many options; although it is unfortunate that they are coming out the gate the way they are. but i think it will have little effect on either of us; just diffrent folks ya know?

Its hard to avoid all your parties....yea i know of all the clubs and what nights they run. We are bringing forth a massive venue... its a bit different than the local bar.. and we are marketing twords a younger generation! so by the time thier 21 they will be into D&B and will prob. go to your bar!! Thanks to all the crews out in s.d. for making it poss. We are just trying to do the same thing.....thier are still many that havent been touched by the music and we are just trying to accomplish that. all i can say about it is that I don't pretend to own saturdays by throwing a free night. It wouldn't be fair for us to do what we do and then hate on other people trying to step up the level on the weekends. Lets just hope that thats what they do. A new 18+ venue seems to me to be a good thing.

PEOPLW WILL ALWAYS BE RUNNING AGAINST SUM1 ELSE-THERES ALWAYS GONNA BE AT LEAST 2 SHOWS TO GO TO-NO ONE "OWNS" SHIT
JUST BECAUSE SUM CREWS BEEN DOING A SHOW THE SAME NIGHT FOR HOW EVER LONG....SO
THERES THOUSANDS OF POEPLE TO GO OUT-THE ONLY TIME I WONT RUN AGAINST SUMTHING IS IF I THINK ITS REALLY GONNA BE A FINANCIAL MISATKE OR THEY ARE A VERY GOOD FRIEND AND ASK ME TO SWITCH DATES-
