KOSHEEN (the same Kosheen that sings "Hide You" ["if u were in my heart i'll show u . . . . blah blah blah"}. I just took the B-Side acapella and threw it over sum Liquid Funk (31 Records).
The acapellas i used were MOS DEF, KOSHEEN, RAEKWON and NOSTADAMUS & KEMST (ha ha ha) |

Chris hmm, so you like accapellas as well? I used that little empty skies accapella snippet too at the end of a set. I know you got some secret weapons in there like myself.

Right on Chris,
I used for an intro a track off this Malcolm X LP "By Any Means Necessary".
I used a track called "The Era of Revolution" then brought in an an orchestral/moody track from Krust's Coded Language LP that kinda reached a cresendo simultaneously with Malcolm's part of that speech creating this dramatic tension at the apex and then,
BOOM
on a third turntable, I dropped Krust's Katskan (also off Coded Language) |

Nope it is NOT Mariah Carey. It is sum downtempo mix i have (the A-Side is the dnb mix, but i thought the downtempo worked better). I will let u know Kira!
Also that song that comes in after Ultrasonic sound is w/MC NAPTRON (not MC Peace) produced by Pieter K. Naptron can be heard on HIP HOP 2023. The tune is on DEFCON 4 (Hive's compilation with Bboy3000, Pieter K and Subcode & Freestyle Fellowship, Otherwise & Naptron!

Chris, your CD is badass!
I love how you messed with the Ultrasonic sound. Also the way you went back and forth with the Terrorist track and that other one was sick! This morning I was looking at the CD and realized I haven't listened to it yet. Anyways, I was glad I brought it with me today. Props on all those hip hop songs too. I love that s**t. Mos def traveling man into that General Malice song was tight. |

i also liked the krs-one, buju banton, and eminem you mixed in
i'm not sure if i've listened to a set of yours before but it was real different from what i've been listening to lately (uk big tune sets on the computer where they all mix it the same way). it was cool how you played all your songs differently from how i normally hear them and what you do with drums. it was a pleasure listening to your unique mix and anymore you have, i'd like to hear (and not just cuz you're my friend). |
